What type of pen???

Kiera, on October 29, 2012 at 8:50 AM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 8

We're planning on having a photo from our engagement shoot printed on a large canvas and having our wedding gusts sign it as the guest book. If anyone here is an artist and can shed some light on what type of pen I should use I need some suggestions...I either need to be able to buy it in a store in Calgary or be able to have it shipped to Canada. TIA.

Photo example attached.

Could the sharpie pen work? They come in so many colors now, including metallic colors.

A sharpie would work, I'm just concerned that the ink will run..

Ultra fine Sharpies write like a pen. They don't run and are fast drying.

Thanks Latisha M...I was getting worried cause I've been getting mixed responses from photo shops that print on canvas...some say sure you can why not and others say it won't work at all to have people sign a photo on canvas...

I would say sharpie. Once you get it done try a little dot on it.

Sharpie pens or the ultra fin tips wont run. I used them on our canvas guest boards.

What a great idea that is! Other than a fine tipped Sharpie, I have no other suggestions.

    Good luck!
