What to put on a reception card?

Audra, on April 29, 2012 at 5:50 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 6

For my reception I am including a reception card in my invites to let guests know to plan on getting lunch before the wedding.

Anything amiss or advice to better word it?

I think this would give me a good idea of what to expect, food and bar wise. I think your reception card looks nice.

I'm in the biz and I don't even know what "semi hosted' means.

    What exactly are you serving?

I was thinking the same, whats semi-hosted?! I think telling people Cocktail Recp, is good enough.

Champagne, Beer, and Signature Drink but all other liquors are cash only. I've heard semi-hosted a lot but knew there was something else better to say.

We worded ours with "Please join us for dinner and drinks following the Ceremony" then put the address of the venue, directions from the church, and we were able to fit a google map showing how to get from the church to the reception
