I've been to November weddings....as long as your guests are indoors and nice and warm you'll be fine!

It's highly variable depending on your location. In some areas weather and driving conditions might be a concern. In other areas, not so much.

My wedding will be November 3rd. My ceremony will be outside but the reception will be inside the lodge. I plan to have a basket of hand warmers for the guests for the ceremony and a back up plan in case of extreme weather (freezing temps or cold rain). The ceremony also won’t be all that long. Thankfully nov 3rd is towards the beginning so it shouldn’t be too horribly cold. We are going to offer hot chocolate and coffee.

I’m planning something similar. Fortunately I have a Plan B just in case the weather is too cold.

Our wedding is November 1st but because November is 99% wind and rains our wedding and reception will be indoors.

@Shelleycherea, yeah Smiley smile our site is a Gazebo court area and a Lodge (both on same site)but my church will be our indoor ceremony back up plan since it’s only like 10 minutes away from the Lodge. We literally watching the first week of November to see when the sun set, how cold it was, did it rain etc. we researched past weather casts for those days. We decided ceremony will start at 5 (last hour of light) and the reception will start immediately after (so bout
5:30). We aren’t doing a cocktail hour because one we’d be starving by then and two we are taking pictures and first look beforehand Smiley smile i was thinking about getting a cute cotton shawl for my bridesmaids, like a blush colored one or cream to offset their burgundy dresses. And the Lodge has a fireplace i intend to use since it
wpuld be gorgeous! (There is already a heat source but the fireplace would more or less be an aesthetic)
