Hello!
We are having our wedding on Decembre this year, due to the situation we can just have 4 guests, which is perfect for me because I prefer very small wedding. We took a wedding planner because there is no one who can help us, we both live in a different country then our families.
Since there is no party, so the few things we have in this wedding, I wanted them to be the less imperfect possible. I am a detailed oriented person in Spain, but I m not in my country. Here, people don't give attention to details, so if we want things your way is weird for them.
My wedding planner has nothing with details and all I feel that she is always pushing me to take the providers she knows (obviously to have her commission), regardless of their compatibility with my needs.
The thing is, I am really getting upset with every conversation with her, and I start doing her job to avoid to explain for her for the ****th time. For example:
We explained to her how the bills should be, every single bill we receive from her should be revised and modified. We did a video call and explained to her, and send it written. Nothing. She keeps doing the same error, because she doesnt check anything before she sent.
Another example, we gave her the budget for the flowers, she just sent us an offer with exactly the double of the budget.
I dont know how to continue to work with her, we paid her the half and we still have one month....
If I tell her how I really feel might make things worst and I dont went a bad energy on my wedding day.
If I continue doing her job, and she will just have to coordinate with the hotel, florist, cake, etc on the wedding day.... She really has not much to do, we just have the ceremony for 10mn and the lunch, no party, no first dance, no suprises, added to that she doesnt have many wedding to plan with this situation....
I am really confused and I moved from being angry to being sad, and this isn't how I should be before my wedding....
