What to do on the day you don't get married?

Hi everyone. So I was supposed to get married this Saturday to the love of my life but back in Jan we looked at our finances and after moving across the country and buying a home it basically used up all of our wedding savings. We postponed the wedding day till June of next year but I still really want to do something in recognition of the day we didn't get married. Any ideas?

    We were supposed to close on a house in April and planned to spend the weekend working on it... but it fell thru. We took a 2 hour roadtrip to a baseball game and went to IKEA. I know it sounds odd, but it was just something small to say that we are still going to do this, it's just a bump in the road. So I'd say plan something that is special to you two.

    You guys should definitely do something! Date night to your favorite restaurant, hike if that’s your thing, mini road trip to your favorite place, or whatever you guys enjoy! It’ll keep your mind busy and you’ll still be able to celebrate your love for each other! Enjoy!

    Do a courthouse wedding.. low key, inexpensive, can be just known between the two of you, but a great memory to tell others later!
