Wow there's a lot of evening weddings. We're doing ours at 1pm that way we don't have to worry about serving a full meal, just cake and hor douvres, and we'll have the whole day to spend with family and friends celebrating.

We are probably going to start around three. We can't start later then 3:30 because of the Saturday evening service.

My wedding ceremony is a on a saturday in June at 2 p.m. I initially wanted something later, but we're getting married at our reception site in an outdoor gazebo, and the latest time you can get married is 2. So our reception will be over by 730, which is fine with me because I have no interest in dancing the night away. As an added plus, they do all the cleanup, so I literally can get changed and go home lol.

3 PM, it was later inthe day so people didn't have to wait so long for cocktail hour. BUT I would of done 2 or 2:30 also, more time for pictures, and started coctails at 4, and if I remember correctly, our guests showed up for 5 PM cocktail hour, right after the ceremony (round 4 I think) but that's because my Grandpa, who officiated the ceremony, tried to come up with a way to get people to leave the ceremony site (parents house) ASAP so we could start photos..LOL But that's okay, I'd rather our guests be there early than trying to take photos of us when your photog was. And it worked out for my nieces and nephews nap time.

We're doing our ceremony at 5, reception 6-10. They are in different locations, but only about 5 minutes apart. We're going from a rose garden in the park to a hotel for the reception.
