What made you say yes to the venue!?

I just loved mine-- a little gazebo on a hill to get married, then everyone (except the bride-- I got a ride in a golf cart) walks down the hill to the country club for the reception. It was also inclusive, so I didn't have to worry about caterers or wedding planners, or linens. Once I had my venue, all I needed was a cake!

Mine was just....gorgeous. It's an old Victorian mansion with gardens and huge metal arch's with vines and greenery over the terrace. Plus, they only use (and got brand new) mahogany Chiavari chairs. Also, It was more reasonably priced than most venues in the area. Included a pic cause I love it that much!

I wanted something that gave us a vintage feel. The venue we picked df used to go to every mothers day with his mom, grandmother, and aunt. it had the feel I was looking for and has a lot of sentimental meaning to fh's family

It was lakeside, like I wanted. They supply tables and chairs. I can have ceremony and reception on sight. (Ceremony outside on the deck over the water then reception will be indoor/outdoor) They offer a boat send off. Onsight catering and a salon at the venue so we can get ready there.

I fell in love with it so I took FH to see it. When he said he loved it too, we booked! It's just gorgeous and suits us beautifully. It's a Victorian mansion looking building & has a Midwestern/southern feel to it (FH's while family is from the Midwest).

It helped that it was in our budget & offers pretty much everything

I love my venue! Honestly I thought that if it was bad weather, I still wanted to be happy with my wedding. So I picked a venue that had nice ceremony spots both inside and outside and also had a lot of different places for photos (my brother is a photographer so I put a big emphasis on how the photos would turn out.) FH and I both happen to love history, and getting married at a Victorian mansion was just so much more "us" than a lot of other venues. The food got good reviews there and the sales people have been nothing but responsive and kind. It was the perfect fit! After we found this place, we knew we would just pick a date that could be affordable considering all the minimums and stuff we had to meet there.

My FH (this being his second marriage) told me that we would know when we saw it. He was so right. The price was right, the venue was pretty and most importantly - the person we met with was up front and seemed so trustworthy. We decided to move our date up a year for this specific venue because there were issues with our original date.

We are on a budget so we needed something affordable. BUT I wanted something that would feel nice too. So we found this cute winery that was very inexpensive. We love it. When we walked in D and I looked at each other and knew. Once we sat down D asked me what I thought and I said that it's the one. He goes is that because you like it or because you are done looking at venues. I said because I like and well yeah I am doing looking at venues lol he goes good cause I like it too I can't wait. I think it goes great with our motown theme too. We don't have to decorate the place (other than centerpieces) so that was a huge plus. It comes with a bartender all night, they set up and clean up which was a huge plus AND well the price tag. Plus we can take pictures in the room where they make the wine and the barrel room where it's stored.

I think you just get a feeling! Sounds stupid, but I believe it. And I almost settled. If you really have a feeling or DONT have a feeling chose or move on. The right one will come along and it will be amazing. Think of your vision and if you can see it play out at that venue. It will be beautiful Mine really captured my heart.. I am not married yet but this is the ceremony site!

We said yes to the venue when it all just fit perfectly. We loved the site, it was WAY under our budget, the people responded to emails almost immediately, they happened to be available on the day we wanted, there was a catering company right down the street and their owner was in the office when we stopped by and THEY were way under our budget.... and it just all fell into place and we knew it was perfect!

ADORE my venue!! it is the first place we visited and it was just PERFECT!!! We did visit three other places but price, opportunity, gorgeousness, and housing were all convenient at the 1st venue. so happy!!! it was just meant to be!

The deal we received, we couldn't say no. It is a decent place and it comes with an outside patio with a waterfall.

I said yes, because it was classy. Like us. And it's in the heart of the city.

We were searching for a place that would suit me and FH and fit our family's in, trying to make it easy.

My cousins offered us the farm and even though it is less easy it's more us and means something

I said yes because it's so elegant, and I fell in love with it the minute I stepped foot in the door!

It was pretty much the only viable option.

Price.

I mean it's absolutely gorgeous!

But seriously. Price.

I'm also having difficulty with a venue. I've been searching on here for awhile & google search engine too. Just looking for a few options because we all know you cannot base everything on pictures & something that fits our budget.

The ceremony was easy-- our favorite little church that we both always dreamed of marrying in and the reception venue-- we wanted waterfront and open-air with tons of room to move and watch the beautiful sunset from (we have plan b in case of weather)
