What kind of things you assign to others for THE BIG DAY?!

I assigned one of my BM's to keep me hydrated. I tend to forget to drink enough water and if she was I was low or noticed I didn't have a bottle nearby she made sure one was there. HUGE thanks to her!

Decorations are a big one. Have one 'head honcho' and other people assisting them. That way you can explain exactly what you want to one person and have them guide everyone else.

Payments to vendors, queing vendors (like the DJ, prior to the big entrance), ushers, assisting guests to their seats if you do assigned seating, collecting your personal belongings (make up, change of clothes, etc) and collecting your gifts to get you at a later time.

Get people to help with assembling invitations and save the dates as well.

My dude of honor was assigned to go buy the challah for the blessing over bread. My maid of honor was assigned to help me decorate the synagogue. That was pretty much it for the wedding day. For the at-home reception three days later, we had a lot of people who helped get the place ready.

I have one bm who has already named herself food and water patrol-shes taking care of snacks for us girls throughout the day and will be making sure I eat and drink water. its good, cause I get cranky if I dont eat

I also will have my bms on beauty patrol-just take a look a me once an hour or so(even from across the room) and do a hair/makeup/bustle check to make sure Im all good on those fronts

assign someone to keep track of extra lipstick/gloss and possibly those shine free papers for you.

plan ahead where your travel stuff will all be-license/purse/passport/luggage, etc. my brother was halfway to his hotel for the night and they realized the bride had left her purse at the church!

SEE that is nice, but my man wont let me tell anyone on his side of the fammily yet!!!!! So, that fouls up all of my planning stuff idk what to do!!!!!!!

I am going to set him down this weekend and tell him set a date already - March 2011 is so vague!! Thank God I still have time but no money hardly now, until the new year i wont have hardly anything. ALL YOU GIRLS OUT THERE TELL ME what I can do to get ready for a wwedding with out costing me a dime YET!!

I definitely need people to help decorate, set up the favor table with all the favors etc because we can start setting up at 0900 but I think that is when I will need to start having hair and makeup done
