What Kind of Favor Would You Want?

Okay, I know the general consensus on favors is they are totally unnecessary. But FH and I still have not made up our minds about if we will do them or not (we have less than 20 people at our wedding, so it's not like it would be very expensive). If we do favors, we may somehow incorporate...

Okay, I know the general consensus on favors is they are totally unnecessary. But FH and I still have not made up our minds about if we will do them or not (we have less than 20 people at our wedding, so it's not like it would be very expensive). If we do favors, we may somehow incorporate gaming/movies or something. We don't have a gaming "theme," but we are doing little touches where we can.

SO, the actual question I want to ask is: Would you prefer something edible or something useful as a wedding favor?

Something I can eat or drink. I actually do like koozies because it's a million degrees here all year round so I actually use them.

Edible. My personal favorites I've received have been homemade jam, honey, and then Chicago Mix popcorn.

Steph26 - I don't plan to spend more than a meals worth of money on favors for 16 people (3 of which are children), so that's not really an option. Not that I feel we need any upgrades on what we are already doing anyway (considering that's where most of our wedding budget is going)!

ETA: Katie - that sounds delicious!

Edible. What you find useful may not correlate to what I find useful.

Edible (or drinkable...one wedding that I went to gave out small bottles of really good wine).

Edible. We are doing cake pops and having the same person who is doing the cake also do the cake pops. Simple & very inexpensive!

Unless it's a koozie (always my #1 fave), then something edible or drinkable!

@Kiwi - Those mario cookies are soooo freaking cute!

The only non edible (or drinkable) favor I'd want would be matches, as Joanne suggested. I can never find matches when I want to light a candle, and I end up lighting spaghetti on fire at the gas stove. Oh hi, I'm super classy.

I like edible. Maybe someone makes chocolates wrapped like dice? That would be AWESOME!
