What is/was your first dance song??

Hey all!

Fi and I are having a really hard time finding a first dance song. There are songs we like, but aren't necessarily good to dance to. And really, nothing has pulled us in completely. We plan to take dancing lessons, so our dance will not be just a simple slow dance either.

So I was wondering, what is your first dance song? Do you love it? I just feel that the song should be like your dress, when you know, you know! Is that the case for you?

Ours is going to be "Give it all we got Tonight", by George Strait...The dance where our bridal party and parents will join in, is "One of those Nights", by Tim McGraw.

Both those songs are perfect, except I believe they BOTH mention "July", LOL. The 3rd song will be "Cruise" by FGL, then it'll fade into background music(as of now, my father is our band, so he'll play some of his own songs), while toasts are being done, and people are getting food.

FH can kinda 2 step. He does best when we look at each other(no joke, despite being cliche!), otherwise, he tries too hard to concentrate on his feet, and we start stumbling. So, we're going to hit up my fave country club now that they're back open, b/c on Thursdays, from 6-7:30, they do dance lessons for just $20/couple. In fact, IDk if it's even that much. But, I want him to learn the cowboy waltz, which I stumble at myself, so I need a refresher of it!

I still have no idea...sadly most of the songs I would consider "Our song" aren't something you can dance to as a first song...So still trying to figure that one out...

I think we've decided on Recipe for Love by Harry Connick Jr. We'll have to see if we can dance to it, though, FH is definitely a sway-back-and-forth sort of guy.
