Our DJ has on his website client tools and has a folder for each category of past songs he has played. We are going with Mumford and Sons, Lover of the light. But this is his list it may help!

Ours will be "For Once In Your Life" by Michael Buble. My FH picked the song and we love dancing to Michael Buble songs.

A suggestion if you like country: Easy by Zac Brown Band. More up beat but still slow dance-able

    Other common ones:

    1000 years

From this moment on by Shania Twain

    Amazed by Lone Star

    My Wish by Rascal Flatts

The way You look tonight by Frank Sinatra

Of course there are many more!

If we can figure out how to dance to it (because the pace is a little fast for a first dance) Counting Stars by One Republic. If we can't figure that out, we'll dance to Your Song by Elton John (or the Ellie Goulding version, because I love that one too). Those two songs are "our songs" lol.

We're doing Tenerife Sea by Ed Sheeran. FH wants to actually waltz, and while it's not triple meter, it's upbeat enough to fake it.

Our options are the Turret Opera from Portal 2, "Alone Together" from Steven Universe, Patricia O'Callaghan's cover of "I'm Your Man", "Go Places" by the New Pornographers, and "Shut Up and Dance" by Walk The Moon. At this point we're thinking about practicing to all of them and just playing it by ear on the day of -- we've been ballroom dancing together for about a year so we're pretty confident we'll look reasonably good and have fun no matter what.

My mom passed away in 2004. My uncle sang, "Keep On Loving You" by REO Speedwagon at my parent's wedding.... and so in memory of my mom, he is singing it and it will be the father/daughter dance and during the dance, my dad will give me to my husband to finish out the song.

@Shannon that is such a sweet way to sort of have your mother with you on your day

Our song is still sort of undecided but we are leaning towards She's everything by Brad Paisley because some of our other songs through the day revolve around "everything" like our processional song will be Everything by Lifehouse, and our recessional song will be Everything by Michale Buble
