Our venue is at the pier over looking the water and mountains! And they’re planning on remodeling it this year. So we’re going for romantic and elegant as our theme with blush tone!

Our theme is all about us, and what makes us a couple.

Our is vintage style, with an elegant/casual feel. We'll have balloons, streamers and paper chains, just like my parents' wedding in the '80s, which is the vintage part. But the dress code is more modern, with bridesmaids in long, elegant gowns and groomsmen in jeans and cardigans, lending to the elegant/casual part. It's going to be a cozy, outdoor barbecue with fire pits and warm twinkle lights, and kids running around, and a hot potato soup to keep us warm. I can't wait to cozy up to a fire and roast marshmallows with my favorite cousins and my new husband. Smiley heart

Elegant and classic, but a little rustic. Navy suits, pops of peach, and lots of gold accents, but also wood and nature since our reception is outside.

Theme: Wine and whiskey! But not at all rustic.. the most rustic thing about it will be whiskey bottles with lights

We don't really have a theme. We're incorporating things we love that go together. We're incorporating a little bit of the New York Rangers b/c that my FH's favorite hockey team. Our colors are navy blue and ivory. Our tables in the reception are named and numbered are after New York Ranger current players and legends in the sport. My FH and I's sweetheart table is named after their head coach. I'm trying to do an elegant wedding without making it overwhelming.

Based off of our colors (navy blue, gold and silver) we are having a "night sky" theme!

This sounds weird, but our wedding will be loosely Smashing Pumpkins themed. I have never heard of a wedding theme based off of a band before, but we’re doing the thing! Lol
We both have a long history with the band, both individually and as a couple. I had major surgery about two years ago, which was supposed to have a healing time of 4-6 months. Well, due to severe complications that nearly led to my death, the healing time ended up being 2 years! During that time, I had to learn to walk again, so I spent nearly 6 months using a walker, then another 5 months on crutches. When I was finally able to walk again, the first thing we did together was attend the smashing pumpkins reunion concert. Not only did we both have a history with this band, I was also ecstatic to be out of the house and feeling somewhat “normal” again, so it was a super special and meaningful experience for both of us. On top of that, the visuals of the tour were just stunning!! When I was looking through invitation ideas, I found one that immediately jumped out at me. It wasn’t until I showed it to my fiancé that I realized it completely embodied the visuals of the smashing pumpkins concert! Right then and there, we decided that would be our theme. And, strangely enough, our wardrobe mimics the wardrobe in one of their music videos from the 1990s (we hadn’t even realized it until then!). My headpiece and make up will be inspired by the newest tour. And reception colors & decor will have little nods to it as well. Nothing over the top or in your face... just subtle nods that will tie everything together.

We are doing a travel theme! FH and I love to travel together. Each of our tables will be named after somewhere we have traveled together and will have pictures of us on that trip. Our centerpieces will have flowers that I made from maps Smiley smile
