We are planning for 100, with a budget of $25,000 however I went over by $1500 on the dress without alterations soooo we’ll see where we end up lol
After discussing with many friends and family we decided to bring the budget down to 10k ideally. That is without wedding attire or rings as well as Glam.
We figured we'd much rather spend our $ on our honey moon.
We are just beginning to plan everything so lets see how it goes!
Our budget is set at $20K and that won't include our Honeymoon, Rings, or the DJ. I'm fortunate that my fiancé's brother in law is a DJ and he is connected to different vendors. We are planning on spending about $10K of our own and the other $10K will be split between our parents. We are having 150 guest's and 2 wedding ceremonies since my fiancé is Sikh and I come from a Christian family. Hope this helps!
We are planning on $32k for 120 people. We invited 142 people but there are some we know won't come but due to family politics, we had to. We live in MI and are getting married in a state park in NY. We didn't want to do a lot of DIY so I opted that my time was worth more than paying someone else to do it.
That being said, the cost includes my dress, his suit, his daughters outfit, wedding rings, engagement ring, honeymoon (Jamaica), flights, hotels, gifts, DJ, officiant, flowers, cakes, caterer....literally everything down to someone dogsitting our two dogs. The number is big. I thought I'd do $10k but that would have had to be in IL in my parents town at the church with most of both our families not coming due to a huge distance to travel. I didn't want the stress of that and wanted to make it easier for family to say yes.
Cashing in on a lot of favors, and we had some generous offers of help. Without that, we would probably just elope lol. We expect 65-70ish people. This is also a DW in CO, we live in TX. Most of his family is local to wedding.
Venue: Free (family friend hosting outdoor ceremony/reception at their mountain property. They have 2 outhouses so porta-potties aren't needed. Did get quoted $340 for two, w/ a sink station though.
Rentals: Tent & Dance Floor $940 setup and delivered
Chairs/Tables: Free (FH aunt loaning us from her work)
Food: We were quoted $1040 for BBQ buffet catering from local restaurant. One of the cooks generously offered to cook all the meats for free, just pay cost. So now we're looking at $600 for catering (plus tip).
Alcohol: Shinerbock and Coors Light kegs. Will probably do a large batch drink with hard alcohol of some kind. Haven't priced any of that yet but I'm thinking $400-500 high side. If you have any other questions happy to help!

Wedding ceremony & reception at my in laws house. They have lots of land. Then we are doing our own food, taco bar and pre cooking meats and prepping veggies and sides a couple days ahead of time. Batching cocktail margaritas then offering beer and wine on tap- we have friends who work for them and sold then to us for wholesale cost. Using eco friendly plates and utensils that we'll be taking to a local flower farmer who will give us a huge discount for our flowers. The dj is someone who my mother in law works with at the school district who djs all the school dances and so what we pay him ( a couple hundred) is just a donation for funds for the school music program. Our church is letting us use their table and chairs.
Our budget is 15K for 150 people. Right now we are under because I have been doing a lot of DIY and luckily our venue includes a lot of things that are generally added on.
