what is your favorite cocktail to order at a wedding or bar?

I LOVE SEX ON THE BEACH! ITS MY FAV! I ORDER THAT ANYWHERE I GO!!!! I had one Sunday night at happy hour with my FH and friends from out of town that came to visit us for the weekend and it was sooooo good! ;-)

We are doing a signature drink called something blue..and its a blue Hawaiian cocktail inspired by our honeymoon to Hawaii..but i was thinking about maybe adding a second one thats a sex on the beach and changing the name to Hawaiian sunset.I wanna make up picture frame for the bar and have them listed on there..do you think 2 is overkill?

Amaretto Sour..!!

Beer. Haha, but if I am feeling like something different ...a martini.

IDK, it might depend on your crowd and how many of them drink mixed cocktails? Our crowd pretty much drinks wine, beer, or liquor with soda (or neat) so the signature drink would have been lost on them. We joked around that our signature drink was Jameson on the rocks.

I'll adjust to whatever people have at weddings and what mood I'm in. Either white wine, a white wine spritzer if I'm trying to stay sober lol, gin/tonic, vodka/soda, or cognac or whiskey neat.

I agree with Kris. Our crowd (and my taste in particular) is the same. I personally would never drink a sweet mixed drink, but it depends on your circle.

Mojito!

Same thing everywhere I go. I am a SCREWDRIVER girl for life.

Some of these drinks are more like specialty drinks, therefore, the bar may not have all of the ingredients, but I have never been to any bar without the ingredients for my drink, lol.

I almost always go for one of the 3: wine, cranberry and vodka with lime, or tonic and vodka with lime. I probably would bypass the signature drink as well since they tend to be really sweet fruity drinks which I'm usually not fond of

I like all sorts of things and would try all sorts of things, but not a blue cocktail. Somehow blue liquids do not seem drinkable to me. So although I love the idea of a signature cocktail, I think many of them will be lost.

Haha I'm with you Mrs. S! I always avoid blue drinks, they freak me out for some reason.

I drink based on each situation as well. If I'm trying to stay semi-sober, I drink vodka sodas because I actually don't like them that much so it slows me down. If I'm ok with getting medium drunk, I'll drink gin & tonics or wine. If I'm looking to get super drunk I drink champagne or Jameson. If I'm in the mood for something sweet I get Malibu, soda and a splash of pineapple. : )

Cherry Whiskey and 7-UP/Sprite - delicious!!

If I'm doing shots, it's a Polar Bear/After Dinner Mint - it tastes like chocolate mint..mmm!

Top shelf Vodka, Club Soda...with a splash of Cranberry and don't forget the lime Light and refreshing, low on the calories

I either go for a Midori Sour, or a Jameson and Coke. i like being able to do the "girly drink" or the "holy s---! she drinks whiskey?! drink" depending on the crowd and my mood i tend to shy away from the Midori Sours lately, though. i think my taste buds are protesting, and don't like the sweetness too much anymore...

our sig drink is mojito though, and i made a sign to put on the table

it will say

"GaDoren" thats what we named it bc its a mix of our two last names

and says "mojito was the drink we had on our first date to clyde's in new brunswick nj"

I love me an Adios if I'm looking to have a really good night ;]. Otherwise, Vodka/Cranberry is fine too. Our signature drink is a Blue Lagoon: Vodka, Lemonade, & Blue Curacao. Easy, simple, & cute haha.
