What is needed for Catholic wedding?

Does anyone know if a unity candle or any other items are required for a Catholic wedding ceremony? I want to make sure I have everything I need.

Unity candles and flowers for Mary are optional even in a full mass service.

I would reach out to your priest or the rectory to see what is needed and what is not. They should also be able to point you in the direction of a local store to purchase those things at

Okay thank you. Because ours is across the country from where we currently live, I'd like to keep it as minimal as possible.

The unity candle is no part of the Vatican approved marriage rites. So, if you do not want a candle it will not be forced on you.

No unity candles, most priests will discourage it. Flowers to Mary is an option.

Oh if you're Hispanic or Filipino - veil, cord and arras blessings can be incorporated in the wedding.
