What have you accomplished this week?

We hired our caterer this week! I know it's early, but the venue only has 3 approved catering companies that we can use. One of which was already booked out for the date. So happy to have that off my list!!

Oh you must be super excited about mailing the invites out!

So awesome! I just mailed mine out yesterday as well and was excited to have that done and to start receiving RSVPs! Now mostly focusing on making final vendor payments and little stuff (need vases for tables, etc.).

That's awesome!! On Sunday, my uncle said he'd be the 2nd minister for the wedding (we're having 2 pastors officiate), and my aunt said she'd be my DOC (she's a full-time event planner so she'll be perfect for the job). My dinner plates, salad plates, forks, spoons, and knives just came in the mail this week! I'm so excited!! They're so pretty! FH and I, also, just decided on our ceremony exit song and couples dance song.

We just ordered our save the dates and postage last night! We want to get them sent out in early September, so I wanted plenty of time to address them

I have been finalizing the invites with my brother who is designing them. Working on looking up and buying decor. Going to pick out a bridal shower dress tonight hopefully and looking at wedding bands to get ideas! I have no idea what I like so I figured I'd try a bunch on to see how they look and hopefully pick a style to show FH to send to our jeweler.

That's wonderful! It's never too early to start booking the "big-ticket" vendors IMO. We had our venue (which includes catering) booked in March of last year. I can't tell you how nice it's been to have completed so many tasks early and to relax and enjoy the final months of planning. Best of luck to you!

I can't wait! We just have a few more decorations and final payments to make as well. We're both getting so close!

The first batch of our invitations are going out on Friday.

We're making menu selections for our tasting.

And looking at honeymoon packages.

How exciting! Lots of fun stuff coming up for you

I printed out all my invitations and RSVP cards. I am going to be stuffing, addressing and stamping envelopes with my wedding party on Saturday. So excited to drop these in the mail on Monday. Crazy part is I already have 60 people RSVP'd on the website from when I sent out my save the dates. I guess the fam is just as excited as FH and I.

First dress fitting scheduled for October, yay!! Also, a meeting with a donut baker is scheduled to taste their apple cider donuts (donuts instead of a cake; apple cider donuts are our FAVVV)!!
