We are doing chocolate covered cherries as our favors! I recommend either doing something edible, something that can be used after the wedding (luggage tags, bottle openers, etc, and I wouldn't put your name or wedding date on them unless it was on the packaging), or skipping them.

Either do edibles or save your money. In some circles, even edibles get left behind.

We got stemless wine glasses with our names and wedding date on them. Filled them half way with m&ms half black and half red (our wedding colors) then places a cake pop on top of the m&ms. My mother-in-law made the cake pops.

We skipped favors. Unless they are edible (and then you have to consider allergies), most guests just leave them.

No one noticed we didn't have favors.

We did gourmet butter mints. I agree with most of the PPs that favors should always be edible if possible so that they aren't thrown away!

Didn’t do them. I feel like every wedding I go to, we have no idea what to do with the favors after we get home lol. Food is the best idea

We are doing blankets because we are having an outdoor ceremony in November in New England (pending no snow or rain) and we want to provide some warmth to our guests. We picked blankets because people can ALWAYS use blankets, even if they are just cheap ones.

We’re planning on doing cookies. We found a place near us that has amazing cookies. We’ll probably do Nutella sea salt and fruity pebble.

We know our crowd, so we're doing drink koozies with our dog's picture on one side and our wedding details on the other. We're also doing a doggie bag table which will have bags of dog treats for our guests to take home to their pets! (we're big dog people so it's our pup's 'thank you' to our guests)

We gave every couple / single attendee welcome bags with the following:

Our guests loved the gift and used it their entire weekend with us. (We also custom made face masks for each guest)

We skipped them. Most weddings I've been to either skip them or give little bags of m&ms with the date on them.

We’re doing custom playing cards because we’re huge board game fans and so are both of our families. Then we’re doing a macaron buffet table that guests can fill up bags and take home.
