What do you think of this? Bride asks guests to wear their old wedding gowns!

What an interesting idea. She obviously was very confident in herself to ask others to wear their special dresses to her big day. Good for her! And it allowed others to get to wear their dress again. Kinda cool.

She's a bigger woman than I. That gets a big nope from me!

I think it's fine because hers is obviously very unique and stands out anyway

Cute idea. but I think it would be even more awkward for anyone who was never married before! They might feel like they stick out like a sore thumb.

I think it’s cute, I was going to offer my future mil to wear hers, it’s a really pretty long black dress with pink flowers on it that she can wear again. She only got married recently so it could easily be reworn.

I absolutely love the idea, what a great thing to do! Unfortunately, I don't think I could be that cool lol!

Cool idea in theory but what about people who never were married, people who are divorced, or widowed, or who gained weight since their wedding and don’t fit in their dresses anymore...? Like I said it’s a cool idea if it actually works out but I feel like it would probably cause more harm than good lol

Eh, I don't see anything wrong with it. I agree with her that all couples should have a wedding that reflects their personalities. I can see how this could be so thoughtful to previously married women, but also awkward for unmarried women. This isn't something I would do though. to each their own.

I was thinking the same. And what about those that can't fit into their dress anymore, or are no longer married and the dress is a bad reminder?

I think that was a sweet idea! I'm the first of my friend group to get married, so I couldn't do this

It's a cute idea. But it's a big no for me. I want to be the only one wearing a wedding dress, call me selfish, lol.

Agree! I thought this would be fun for the bach party since Ive been a bridesmaid in all of my friends weddings. 10 wild gals running around in wedding dresses sounded like alot of fun to me. Only thing is, I'm the last to get married except for one single cousin (who is also my bestfriend). It would be very awkward to put her in that situation.
