What Do You Do When.....?

I think if they are guests at your wedding, a little of your time isn't much to ask. I hate cigarettes too, but celebrating with people I asked to join us is very important to me. However, I might recommend talking with your future spouse and maybe setting up a signal if you feel uncomfortable after too long and need a rescue.

I'd just play songs that aren't slow dance songs, so it's just more of group dancing rather than paired dancing.

My sister told us “if you see so and so ask me to dance come and cut in right away” 😂 so maybe recruit someone you trust to step in and save the day! We are five sisters so it was easy for us to keep a look out😂😂😂. At my wedding we had a segment where everyone gets in a circle and the the bride is in the middle and they call on all the guys names to take turns dancing with the bride, I don’t know if other cultures do this but it’s tradition, my sister knew already who was a no no for me so she made sure to call on the next person right away😂😂😂

Agreed. The few slow songs you should be able to dance with your future spouse.
