Things that have been said to me since I started planning...

-Where is my invitation?

-People can wear white to weddings. That is not a bad thing anymore.

-What color are the bridesmaids wearing? I want to match

-If you are family, you don't have to RSVP.

-You know Im coming...why would I need to send an RSVP?

-I will let you know the name of my guest.

-I told {insert random family/friend/person that is not invited} they could come too?

-Can we stay at your house that week?

-Send me a picture of your dress.

-How much are yall spending?

-Whose all invited?

-Is {insert random name} coming? If he/she is coming, Im not.

-It's just one more person!

-Why are my kids not invited?

- That doesn't include my kid, right?

-I'm going to come and help you get dressed.

- Can you ask your mom if I can stay with her?

So WW what questions/statements have you heard that make you want to pop a Xanax, put on your huggy jacket and go play in the bouncy room?

I haven't had too many, bit someone I used to sometimes work with (she was resource pool) and never socialized with made a comment on a very generic FB post about hoping she was invited.

What's even weirder is that it came up on my Time Hop this week that she commented on a post that I made about getting a wedding invitation and had to decide if I was taking a date (I was not dating at the time.) that she wouldn't mind being my plus one for the wedding - she just loves weddings. I ignored the comment and went alone.

This particular wedding, I did contact the FOB to see her what her wedding colors were - so I would NOT buy a dress in that color family.

I had a coworker ask if "we" were invited as in the entire program of some 40 people I work with. Um, no.

My favorite is when college friends assume they're getting invited and that they can bring their whole posse of friends that I've never met.

I'm a Bridezilla so i havent gotten many comments. Mostly out of fear.

One of FH's groomsmen said he was going to show up in an all white pimp suit with top hat and cane and i threatened to murder him in his sleep. So that was nixed.

BM "i don't really look good in pink"

Me: "You don't have to come". I changed my colors later but still.

I chose a brunch menu because it's cheaper and since i have a few vegetarians coming, including my mom, it's easier to accommodate them. My mom told me she doesnt need to eat and can just have bread and water......what in holy hell do i look like feeding my mother bread and water at my wedding?

I've had a few "i expect an invitation" but i just tell them i can't afford to invite random people and they leave it alone.

"I don't know if I can get time off of work for your SATURDAY wedding" -my mother

"I found the perfect dress - it's white and looks like yours!" -also my mother

"You can't have bridesmaids that are smaller than you, you'll look like a linebacker!" (that takes out 5 of my 7 bridesmaids)

Not a specific statement, but a long battle with FILs about having a Catholic wedding or not - FH and I say no but they think we have to.

My FH brother and his wife asked us if they can bring bring friends (a couple, who's engaged, who we've only met once) to our wedding just so they can get ideas for their wedding!!!! WTF!?!?!!! I can't believe they even had the nerve to ask! It's rude right?!?!??? Did I mention that their "friend" is a party planner?!?!?!?!!!!!
