What are your favorite cake flavors?

I feel like chocolate & vanilla are good go-to's because most people like one or the other. Then add in a red velvet or strawberry or something?

I had "creme brulee" flavored cake and it was freaking delicious. A little twist on vanilla based and so delicious!

I'm doing pumpkin spice (very carrot-cake like), Buckeye (peanut butter and chocolate), and sugar cookie (kind of almond-flavored).

I drool whenever I think of my cake. I want all three flavors.

Chocolate. Always.

If you're going for mass-appeal flavors, then I agree with WWKaite about chocolate, vanilla, and red velvet. That being said, lemon cupcakes are my favorite.

Salted Caramel. Especially on vanilla cake. I love vanilla.

I'd do something neutral (like a vanilla, lemon, etc), chocolate, and something fun!

I THINK we are doing lemon, pumpkin, and triple chocolate.

Italian creme is also delicious! Ours are italian creme, chocolate and pink champagne (it's a light, fruity flavor).

My choice is Lemon with raspberry filling, FH's choice is "monster cupcake" that has like, MM's, snickers, PB cups, etc. (yes, he is a 5 year old at heart..) So, yea - I feel we need to tame our choices down to please more people.

We're doing chocolate, vanilla, red velvet, and carrot. My mom is paying for the cupcakes and carrot is her favourite so we let her order it. The weird thing is people keep telling her how excited they are about the carrot cupcakes. Who would've thought?

I love lemon too! Salted caramel, coconut, and chocolate are all good too. I think I'm a fan of any and all cake.

My favorite is double chocolate covered chocolate on chocolate. With chocolate on top.
