You may be surprised. Your seamstress may be able to add cups and shapewear to the dress so you don't have to worry about separate undergarments. Pantyhose is a personal preference. I didn't wear them, but I'm not a fan in general.

My dress had a built in corset, so even though I am very busy (34G), all I wore under my strapless fit and flare was regular, no show underwear. I thought about wearing spanx, but I ended up not. I don't think think need pantyhose. Then again, I don't think anyone ever needs them unless they're for added warmth.

Definitely no pantyhose. Too hot! Just wearing corset bra and shaper shorts

I wore a thong and that was all. I had cups sewn into my dress so I didn’t have to deal with a bra.

Strapless bra and skims high waisted!

I don't have a dress yet, but have worn more wedding dresses than the average 26 year old due to my mom owning a bridal store and me modeling them in various Wedding Conventions/Fashion Shows.

From experience and it entirely depends on the dress and your comfort level, all I wore was undies. Most of the dresses were strapless and already had cups in them, if a bra was needed and wouldn't show on the back it was always strapless.

I'd say no pantyhose cause a wedding dress is already so hard to go to the bathroom in, i couldn't imagine having to put back on pantyhose on top of that lol and the dresses were already heavy and so hot, the less underneath it the better!

A bustier and a thong - those dresses are HOT! (to be fair, we got married in Alabama in July, but still)
