What are you most excited about?

The first look!

I am most excited about having fun with my (will be) husband and all of our family & friends. Fun has definitely been our main goal in all of this. We've been learning what not to do after attending a few weddings over this past year...so that has been super helpful.

The first look, hearing his vows and just seeing friends I don't see in a while

I daydream about the food all the time including our yummy cake. The catering company is incredible. I plan to go against the grain and thoroughly enjoy the food that’s taking up a huge chunk of our wedding budget.Mainly I’m super looking forward to having some great pictures.

I'm looking forward to hanging out with family and friends at the reception and finally getting to call him my husband!!

Before our wedding, I was most excited about 1) our venue, 2) seeing our DIY pirates reception come to life, 3) the food.

All of those were spectacular! There were also amazing surprises like 4) a private dance right after our ceremony (our violinist played A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes and as a huge Disney fan my hubby teared up and pulled me close for a sweet dance), 5) my dad is a diabetic and his sugar got so low he almost passed out during family photos. Thankfully, OJ from the nearby bartender saved the day! Because he couldn’t stand for the rest of photos our guests gathered around him (like in Godfather movie) for photos. Our fun guests didn’t miss a beat and those photos turned out fantastic. And that scary moment turned into a fun memorable one!

I'd say right now I'm looking forward to wearing my wedding dress and also seeing all the decor put together. I love my wedding dress and if it wasn't weird, I'd literally just wear it around the house 24/7 but I don't want the magic to wear off hahaha.

I'm having such a hard time imagining how all the pieces I've bought are going to finally fit together so I can't wait to see my tables and decor and dessert area and everything come together!

I can't wait to wear my dress! I wish there were more occasions I could wear it for lol!

Our first dance as a married couple...we met at a dance, we're having our wedding & reception at the place we met...so i'm excited about that

I can't wait to wear my dress! It's being custom made from my mom's dress and his mom's dress. My mom and I are very close and I have been in awe of her dress since I was little. His mom passed when he was little and I love that she will be included in our wedding in such a special way. Plus my dress isn't completely finished yet. Every appointment I go to it gets better and better so I can't wait to see it all put together with hair and makeup ☺️
