What are you looking forward to most about...?

Mrs. B in 2015, on February 28, 2015 at 7:55 AM Posted in Community Conversations 0 32

Okay ladies (and some gentlemen Smiley smile ), we are doing a lot of planning in preparation for our big day. What are you looking forward to most about your wedding day and being married?

I personally, can't wait to become the wife of my best friend, to have permanent sleepovers and continuing to build our life together as a family unit.

Walking down the aisle to him on the arm of my dad. There's going be some really bad ugly crying going on. Thank God for waterproof mascara!

For our wedding: Everything!! I can't wait to see him at the end of the aisle, I can't wait to see all of our decor and full vision come together, I can't wait to be surrounded by all the people I love, I can't wait for everyone to see me in my dress, I can't wait to do a hula dance for my new husband, I can't wait to see the tears in each others eyes as we say our vows, I can't wait to hear them pronounce us as husband and wife, I can't wait for the fireworks show we'll get to see (from Sea World), I just can't wait to see everything come together. It's going to be magical!! And then well...the honeymoon on an over water bungalow on Bora Bora!!

The thing I'm looking forward to about being married: Calling him my husband around other people, not much else will change haha!

I was so excited just to finally see him at the alter..queue the ugly crying. Now that the wedding is over we really really want our pro pics, we're moving into a house soon, and TTC!

That "we did it!" Moment after the ceremony when we walk back up the aisle and have a moment together alone

Honestly, I think I'm looking forward to our first look. That private (kind of) moment where we see each other for the first time.

I can't wait to see his face when he sees me for the 1st time at our first look. I can't wait for the first look too. Just to have some time with him before everything! And I can't wait til we say "I do" and kiss.

At the actual wedding, I'm really looking forward to walking down the aisle to him. It's gonna be a really potent moment, I can already tell. I'm also really looking forward to first seeing the reception space and how my vision came to life.

That being said, in some ways I'm actually looking forward to the honeymoon more in some ways, because we'll be able to have some true alone time and relax, not think.

I am loving all these posts! It's good to know that I won't be the only with the ugly cry especially as my dad walks me down the aisle and I make eye connection with my FH.

I'm looking forward to jumping the broom. For some reason that's my favorite part of the wedding.

As far as marriage I'm looking forward to expanding our family

I am really looking forward to our vows. We are already really entrenched with each other but the vows are so personal. And the kiss after. He's a very good kisser <3

Other than the obvious things to look forward to (i.e. seeing him at the alter, vows, etc), I can't wait to see what the reception venue looks like all decorated, the cavatappi alfredo from the pasta station, and our first dance.

I'm looking forward to seeing FH NOT crying when I walk down the aisle! My friend insists FH is going to cry when I walk down the aisle and I know FH well enough to know that he won't cry. So we made a bet: If he cries I have to buy her a drink, if he doesn't cry she has to buy me a drink. YAY! Free drink for me!!

Our unity tree! I think it's going to be the best ratio of meaningful to fun of the whole day. Walking down the aisle: super meaningful, super terrible. Pinata: not at all meaningful, super fun. Unity tree: way to talk to all of our guests and symbolize the way we hope to grow together, fun and meaningful all wrapped up in one.
