I personally don't want our flower girls wearing white. I plan on having them in our second wedding color that the bridesmaids won't be wearing (peach). If you do prefer them to be in white, I do like the idea of a burgundy ribbon around the waist of the dress, or just something to tie them into the color scheme!

We have similar colors and a fall wedding, 2 weeks away eekk!!! Smiley smile We ended up just putting ours in white because we ordered them online and wanted to make sure the colors matched!

We got ours off of Etsy:

They have a ton of options!

Nothing related to our wedding 🤣. Our flower girl was our niece and before I had gotten around to asking about it, my SIL was telling me about this great new children’s clothing store she found and said that she even found an adorable dress for niece to wear to the wedding...so I rolled with it. I had planned on at least giving her a dusty blue ribbon/sash to match the bridesmaids dresses but It didn’t really suit that dress... so she just wore a little pink dress her mom had picked out, and looked darn cute!

I completely agree with this. I can't stand this concept of making the flower girls looking like a mini bride. The only person who gets to wear a white dress is the bride. The flower girl can look like a small bridesmaid in a colored dress, and she can wear white on her own wedding day. My flower girl will wear a coral dress.

Oh my gosh I just got rid of the picture accidentally🤦🏼‍♀️
Our colors are Emerald and Gold with hints of blush pink. I told my cousin that my only rules were that I wanted both of her daughters matching (they like doing that anyway) and I didnt want them in white.
We just picked out a blush pink fluffy dress with a heart shaped keyhole back from Amazon.

My daughter is our flower girl and she is wearing white. My dress is white with baby blue. White is traditionally a symbol of purity and she is only one in attendance that is still pure.

My "flower girl" is wearing a gold satin dress that my dad picked out for her. My dad and step mom have gone on a Wish shopping spree lately and when her dress came in it wasn't bad. It doesn't match anything but we'll make it work LOL

My flower girls will be in these ivory/gold shimmer dresses as gold is an accent color for us. I am having them add navy sashes. We are going to put rose petals down the aisle ahead of time, so they will have flower crowns and will have wands with a bell to indicate I am coming!

This is what my flower girl will be wearing. My daughter tried it on but my younger niece will be wearing it. I went with a very light pink instead of white.

I sent the flower girl's mother 10 dresses and she picked. I think I said any pink, any blue, tan, white, grey, or green. She wanted pink & the dress was from Amazon! What are you having your flower girl wear!? 5

I had my girls wear ivory. I found a dress that compliments mine and it’s absolutely adorable. I even got a gold bow for the dress. Gold is one of my accent colors.

Actually the white dress stems from Queen Victoria popularizing it years ago as a sign of wealth, it was (and still is) an extravagant garment. People back in that time frame would never own a white dress because it was so impractical. To wear an expensive white dress and drag it on the floor even today sounds insane if you really think about it. The purity myth of white is untrue.
