What are you doing this weekend

It's going to feel like 110 degrees this weekend in DC... So we are using this as an excuse to hibernate and finish our wedding website. And start planning our registry, we need to go through household stuff to see what we really need. Your weekend sounds way more fun!!

Sounds exciting! I have been kind of taking a break ever since the weather has been nice, but I did order our reserved signs and our cake stand today! This weekend we will be out on the boat so no wedding planning this weekend unless its talking about the ceremony (we are going out on the boat with our friend, who is our officiant, and his wife and kids). I'm way ahead of schedule anyways!

My FH has his bachelor party this weekend and I have my bachelorette.
Friday, I’m going to the Angry Orchard brewery to kick off the bachelorette weekend with just my best friend then she’s sleeping over.
Saturday is my actual bachelorette. We’re all having a spa day then at night going to the nearby casino for dinner/drinks.
And Sunday I have my friend’s bridal shower who is getting married 3 weeks after me.

I am taking a CPA exam on Friday (not confident in passing, but hopefully I'll surprise myself). Anyway, hopefully this weekend and next week FH and I can discuss some wedding related things like our invitation design, processional, etc. We still have a bit, but I'd like to get some things decided since I'm doing planning in between my exams (I only give myself a week). If I pass this one, I'll only have one more, so fingers crossed!

There's a sample sale at a local bridal boutique on Saturday for the National Bridal Sale Event. I plan on waking up super early to park myself in line! Fingers crossed I find a dress (especially since all sample gowns will be under $500!!). Unfortunately, no one else is able to make it, so it'll be just me, but I'm not too worried about it. Then, my mom, FMIL, and BM will be coming over to check out a couple of dresses I ordered on Azazie to try on. So, basically, a weekend full of dresses!

Fingers crossed! I was lucky in that the boutique let me try one on when I went in this morning to ask them about the sale, and I really liked it. It's 85% off the original price, so I figured I may as well try to buy it and then if I end up finding something I like better, at least I won't be out of a tremendous amount of money (and could probably sell it for the price I bought it for).

Any weekend that we don't have anything going on I work on bottles. We are using wine and whiskey bottles as centerpieces. Family and friends have been donating bottles to the cause as they empty them, so I need to remove the labels. I've got a while until my wedding so I do 20-30 at a time. I think I would really hate life if I had to do more than that at a time. It already takes me a few hours to do just that many!

Lets see... I plan on getting my table numbers done, and thus finishing the centerpieces for our November wedding as well as starting to address the invite envelopes on my Cricut. I am also going to be dying my sola flowers for our August wedding (long story short, cancer sucks and there is a very real possibility FMIL won't make it to November), hopefully putting together my bouquet, and if the flowers dry in time, start putting together some of the decor for that. The rest of the weekend will be taken over with my (FH's) nephew's 8th birthday party.
