Weirdest wedding bad dream you had?

The WEIRDEST one I had for sure, was that we were at our rehearsal and our flute player (who is a family friend who I have known since birth) was struggling to play cannon in D.

((Some back story to make it even stranger... this friend is currently 21 years old, in his last year of school where he is studying to be a concert flutist (so he's 1 year away from being professional lol) and one time when he was in 5th grade I watched him SIGHT-READ and play a song that my 7th grade band teacher had actually dropped because it was too hard for the 7th-8th graders to play at all LOL. So him not knowing how to play a pretty basic song was literally never a concern of mine...?))

So THEN in the dream, I asked him why he couldn't play it, and he said he hadn't practiced because he was so busy making us casseroles for the wedding, and then he pulls out these huge casseroles. And I'm like great that's nice but you know we have a professional caterer right? We didn't need casseroles we just needed you to play the flute... and then he got all indignant that I was being unappreciative of his casseroles.

SO STRANGE hahaha.

Hm I think mine are just mostly about logistics going wrong like photographers not capturing the right moments I want them to

I’ve had 2 strange ones. One we were in front of thousands of people and there was a huge fountain and dancers too and when they asked if I do I said no and jumped in the fountain 😂

then recently i had one one that I forgot my makeup the day of and didn’t have time to go get it, and when I went to put my dress on it didn’t fit. So I went don’t the aisle in leggings and a T-shirt with no makeup and put my hair in a messy bun 😂 best part out of it is I told my fh about it and he said I’d still marry you. You make a beautiful mess 😂 I love him!

I had a dream that my florist decided to decorate everything with jack o lanterns, cob webs and spiders. I asked why and she said she felt this looked better 🤣. Far from my rustic farmhouse vision 😂😂. But pretty awesome for a halloween themed wedding!!!

I keep dreaming that I forgot to send out the invites and don’t realize until the day of 😂 it’s so weird!

Dreamt the other night that after the wedding was over I realized I wore the wrong dress... 😅😂 like a black dress with flowers all over it and somehow didn’t notice. MOH promised she won’t let that happen

I dreamed I forgot I was getting married and started panicking that I was going to be late 😂

We are about 103 days away and I've had 2 "wedding nightmares"

The first was our rehearsal dinner got canceled, so we were just winging it on the actual day of. My Grandmother was rushing people down the aisle and the order got messed up, I was half-way down the aisle when they said they weren't ready for me and to go back and start again- after everyone already saw the dress.

The second it was the day of the wedding and I really had to pee before we lined up to walk down the aisle. I was advised that future husband was securely in another room, but when I went out into the hallway, there he was chatting away, and he caught me.

UGH! clearly we aren't doing a first look, and it's important to me we don't see each other from the night before until I walk down the aisle.

I've had two strange ones. In one of them, it was time to get into my dress and I was like omg I forgot to pick it up, so my mom had to go get it from David's Bridal while I touched up my makeup. When I opened the bag, the sleeves were two different lengths and the under part of the skirt was rainbow. I kept yelling "THIS IS WHAT I GET FOR BUYING A DRESS FROM DAVID'S BRIDAL!"

In the other one, me, my FW, our families, and bridal party all forgot about the wedding. It was 5 pm and guests started calling us asking if they were at the wrong location because none of us were there.

Knock on wood I have only had one! I got to the alter and my FH said he didn't want to marry me.

The groomsmen decided they didn't like their vests so they started a big camp fire on the lawn of the venue by our ballroom and ran around in a circle throwing the vests into the fire. I woke up asking my FH why he didn't just say something to me. He was so confused about it.

I've only had one so far.

It was wedding day and we were all at the church. I think I was late. When about to walk down the aisle, I realized we were not even in the correct church. I start to freak out and look across the street at the church we are supposed to be at and it's completely under water.

Such an odd dream....haha...

I am thoroughly enjoying these posts. I haven't had a wedding nightmare yet. However, I'm a teacher and always have back to school nightmares each year. That's a thing too, so I can relate.

View Quoted Comment My fiancé wakes up and talks about dreams like he thinks they are real also. The other day he is half awake and says I left my green twin outside I was like what. He said my green twin my green twin with the big head. Then he was like I think I was dreaming.

It was me my fh his ex wife and the kids all in the car headed to a wedding and his ex wouldn't stop talking about her hair.... Super weird

Lol, that was my reality! My strapless dress was too big on the day of my wedding, even though it fit the week before... I must've lost a couple pounds from stress during the last week -.- always have safety pins, needles and thread, and get a corset-back if possible! My husband's friend's wife said the exact same thing happened to her (that she lost weight the week before her wedding) but luckily she had a corset-back so she was able to just tighten it... wish I had talked to her about that BEFORE my wedding, lol.

View Quoted Comment Oh my gosh I've also had a dream where I forgot my dress! Also I had a dream that started AFTER I said "I do" and I'm looking at my new partner and it's not my FH!! I remember being in a full panic in my dream wondering what happened to him and who the heck this person was I had apparently just married 🤣 I woke up sweating and told FH about it and told him I spent the entire dream going up to every guest asking where he was.
