Weird things that make you feel good

Anyone else get something done during the planning process that just made you feel good but maybe other people will think you're weird for being so happy about it? Lol

I just put our guests in alphabetical order for our escort cards and it felt like I just won the lottery! Haha

2 weeks from tomorrow! Guys are going to try their suits on next week and we just have a few little things left to do and we're ready! Every little thing we finish feels like the end of a marathon where everyone gets a participation trophy. 😂 But I'm so happy with everything and can't wait to see it all together!

    Aha I don't think anyone else but brides understand the excitement of these little accomplishments towards our wedding.

    We are still in the early stages of planning(wedding is 2 yrs out) but everytime we decide on something or go over something I get super excited. Right now our biggest hurdle is the venue. We are also probably going to have to cut our guest list. Which will be hard since 80% is family.

    Totally. There is so much to plan and think about. I just feel accomplished if I send one email. Or make a small list. Even if I'm not really doing anything huge, I feel like I'm one small step closer to the big day.

    Guest lost is the hardest part! We had to cut a lot of people too but you have to do what you have to do. Good luck planning!

    I love organizing anything and everything. I honestly cannot wait to do the seating charts for the reception. I know a lot of people dread doing that, but I'm totally pumped!

    This week I ordered all of the wedding party gifts, film for guest book (polorid), guest book itself, and pens, wedding cake, and topper, as well as FHs ring and booked my hotel room for the night before and I feel so accomplished! I am still three months out but these little things add up!

    I completely get it. The checklist that's on WW, I use it all the time and love when I am able to check off anything that I have done and get all happy about it. No one else understands it but I don't mind. Smiley laugh

    I am so excited for you! Only 14 days and a wake up left! I bet it's going to look awesome!

    I took care of the bigger things first because they cost more so I wanted those out of the way. With the little thing I get to pick and choose what I get and when I order it

    I found my manzanita tree for under $100 after searching for months and landing on a sale. People outside of wedding world would be like “Good for you? What the hell is a manzanita?”

    FH gets it at least, he’s the one that found our favor tags. We high fived.

    All this crazy is temporary. None of us get excited about napkins or jars but in wedding world this is exciting stuff.

    You know, if you really think about it, if this was someone else and you were the non-bride, it would sound pretty silly to be excited over the perfect napkins and flower arrangements! 😂

    OMG YES, I have re arranged everything for the wedding 10 times, we’re down to the wire as well, 13 days, feels like it is finally here after over a year.
    got hair colored today, Sunday is my trial run hair and makeup for my bridal shower at 1 pm, then final dress fitting, I think we’re good to go!!!!
