Did you/or do you have people RSVPing on the site already?

I only put it on the Save the Date. We didn't do online RSVPs though. If you do that, I would definitely have it on the invitation or both.

I actually did, mostly immediate family/friends did. And the rest have followed once they received their invitation

We included the link on both. We had info about our hotel block on our website, and many out of town guests booked their rooms after receiving the save the date and well before receiving the actual invitation

Did you find that a lot of your guests were responsive to the website? Meaning did they RSVP through there or did a lot of them still send in the mail?

Did you find that most of your guests used the website eventually or did a lot of them just RSVP in the mail?

We did online RSVP exclusively, through the Knot. Guests had to preselect their meal from three choices, so it was easy to keep tabs that way. Nearly all guests (even the elderly ones) were very responsive and had no issues with the online RSVP. Only one guest that I can recall couldn't seem to figure it out, but a quick phone call changed that

I actually haven’t had anyone RSVP through mail yet it’s only been about a week since invites were sent. But I also placed a QR code in the invites as an insert with instructions and it took them directly to the RSVP tab and I’ve shown a lot of my guest have been using it!

I would put it on save the dates that are sent to everyone. If you include it in the invitation, it should be on a separate details card.

You could do both. I didn't do save the dates but I'm glad I didn't have our website on a save the date because we changed some things that were previously posted on our website by the time our invites went out, but then again, it'd be on your guests to check the website closer to the wedding.

Yeah, I think this was definitely one of my only concerns about having it on the save the dates.

I put my wedding website link on both the save the dates and our wedding invitations!

There wasn't a lot of information on the website until closer to the wedding though! Smiley laugh

    I put it on both.
The save the dates said something along the lines about check out our wedding website for details about our wedding and other important info. And the invitations have directions to rsvp on our website.

We're doing both because we know our guests will want all the info ahead of time (that's just how my family is). I would 100% put it on the invites, but STDs is up to you. I wouldn't do only on the STDs because they may lose the STD and then want the website link when they get the invite, but not have it anymore.
