Wedding video songs

I picked four songs, but they aren't for specific parts. My videographer just had me list songs I would like in the video and then he would handle the rest. The four I picked are Perfect - Ed Sheeran, Best Shot - Jimmie Allen, Love Story - Taylor Swift , and Die A Happy Man - Thomas Rhett. I had a ton of songs I liked so my husband helped me narrow it down. I knew I wanted Best Shot as that was our last dance song and the videographer wasn't there for our last dance. That song perfectly describes our relationship and we almost used it for our first dance. I also knew I had to have a Taylor Swift song since she is my favorite singer and my husband actually agreed to let me include a song by her which surprised me. Some other songs I considered but didn't ulimately pick were Heaven - Kane Brown, A Thousand Years - Christina Perri, I Love You This Big - Scotty McCreery, Beautiful Crazy - Luke Combs, and some others ones I can't think of right now.

Does your videographer allow you to choose your music? I'm assuming, if so, you would need to choose a song that can be licensed. When I edit my films, I use sites like Musicbed and Soundstripe but if you're wanting a Top 40 song, you can sometimes get them licensed through Songfreedom.

Are you working with a videographer on your video? If so, you could ask him/her if they have a list of songs you could choose from? If you don’t have any specific songs you want, have a pick list could make the whole process easier on you!

On a side note, I saw a highlight video before that had ‘Lovely Day’ by Bill Withers and thought it was a great choice for the vibe of their video/day. I think the videography style and wedding theme/style is important to take in to consideration when picking your music
