Wedding theme and colors

I love those colors! Originally was going to do those for a September wedding but my FH wanted sky blue. We decided on sky blue/pale yellow which doesn't seem like fall colors.


My point being is do what you want and what you like!

Go for the burgundy and yellow. They will look perfect!

In my opinion, sunflowers are more of a summer wedding rather than a late fall wedding. I tend to agree that these are more of a rustic feel rather than modern. When I think modern, I don't think of sunflowers. I like the greenary with the white background more as that feels more modern to me than sunflowers. If it were me, I would probably do the greenary with burgundy and eliminate the sunflowers. Full disclosure: I don't like sunflowers at all so I could definitely be bias.

It's your wedding, so have whatever colors or flowers you love most! They don't have to "match" the particular season or anything

I love the colors, but check the cost of sunflowers that time of year they are not in season and could be very expensive.

I don't think the sunflowers are bad choice for any season (except winter maybe lol) and you don't have to do a TON of the sunflowers, just enough to add a little extra.

Sunflowers with the burgundy go so nicely together. i am not really one to believe that colors and flowers need to match a season

Sunflowers are a fall flower and agree with you that it would go well with a rustic theme.

I love the sunflower and burgundy. I also feel as if is more rustic. I think of fall when I see it. I would do that if my wedding wasn’t in June. 😊
