Wedding Superstitions - Wearing ring on left ring finger

Yes I am going to wear my ring on the left hand

No. I believe that the engagement ring is what brought us to this point. So, it plays an important part. Like a foundation

Yes i will be wearing my wedding ring closes to my heart.

I have a cradle band so I have one on each side. I will be wearing my ring on my right hand (and have been wearing my engagement ring on the right hand) since I am greek. I was taught that they go on the right, not the left (it is in a biblical prayer where it says place rings on the right hand)

I will wear them on my left hand. However the engagement ring will be on the inside. I attached a picture of what is basically the same set as I have but the center stone is a red sapphire. I wear my engagement ring with the point of the heart out so it looks right to everyone who looks at a my ring (surprisingly I get more guys commenting on my ring than women). Because of the set it would look weird having the wedding band on the inside.

I wear my wedding band on the inside, but on my right hand since that's what the Orthodox church does. (Right hand is the place of honor- think roght hand man- and Christ blesses with his right hand in icons)

When I get married the band will be on top of the engagement ring. I think it looks better that way. The engagement ring was the promise then the promise is fulfilled with the wedding band so that's how I'm wearing mine. I pretty much just do whatever makes sense to me, I don't do traditions.

My jeweler told us that wearing the wedding band closest to your heart is an old Eastern European tradition but that the eternity wedding band actually looks better on the outside of the engagement ring as it catches more light. Since I'm not Eastern European or traditional, I'm opting to wear my wedding band on the outside. I really do like the way it looks.

What you're doing makes sense to me as well.
