Wedding shoe help?

Mrs. Brock, on March 30, 2013 at 10:29 AM Posted in Style and Décor 0 16

I dont wear heels that often, because I dont like being taller than my FH, I have a set of legs lol.

So Im confused about what this means

1" hidden platform, 3½" covered heel - so does that mean the overall height of the heel will be 4 1/2 inches high?

I would like heels 3" - 4" max, Im having a hard time, finding a cute pump style thats not 5" heel.

My shoes will be glittered & will have rhinestones, so I dont want to pay a lot for them.

I got these black ones from payless because they had 3" heels, but I not feeling them.. I know they will look diffrent after there finished, but im just not crazy about the style.

I want them closed toe as well.

But then I saw these ones, I think they look better than the payless ones, but still not crazy over them

The height will be the height of the covered heel. The platform height just means that the front of the shoe is raised a little so your foot isn't as arched and is more comfortable I believe

Yes, but if you don't wear heels often, why do you want 3-4" ones for your wedding? That only works for ladies who're really used to heels.

I am used to heels, I used to wear them when I use to do pageants so its not like idk how to walk in them, but since I have been with my FH, all of my higher heels have been put to rest, he hates that im taller than him when I wear them, so I dont wear them Im 5'9 & The black will be covered in glitter.

I say get the smaller ones so your FH is happen it won't really matter how they look unfinished. The only thing I would think about is do you want open toe or closed. Btw how are you glittering them?? That's sounds pretty!!

I don't know how well glitter will stick to the black patent.

I'd go with the lower ones too, keep FH happy and you guys will look better in pictures if your height is more evenly matched Smiley smile

When the shoes are done, post the pic - we are all a little shoe-crazy on here!

Sneakers! We are doing converse! i embroidered our names in them! I would be taller than FH if I wore 5" heels- that would be weird!

Good to know that the modge podge stuck to the patent. Smiley smile

What if we could find you glitter ones already done in your budget?

    What size shoe? What color?

Yes! & it stuck to my puppys mouth for quite awhile! I called the vet freaking out lol

heels I usually get size 9 1/2 and use heel inserts. I wear a size 10 in everything else, but 10s are way to big, and 9s are way to small.. and 9 1/2 are usually still loose.

Color im torn between, hot pink ( my wedding colors) or doing a light blue, for something blue. I want something bright! lol

I actually own the second pair and I highly advise against purchasing the shoes. They are really hard to break in and they killed my feet for the first month of wearing them. I still wear them for work and each time I do I regret it cause my feet hurt at the end of the day and I don't even stand up that often.
