Wedding Restroom Essentials/Basket

Kimberly, on April 18, 2016 at 10:05 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 18

Would love your ideas for wedding bathroom essentials basket... any nice pre-mades out there for both men and ladies rooms? or at least a list of what I should include. Appreciate any recommendations.

Things I would include (just brainstorming here, I want to do this too but I haven't really gotten to thi point):

    - floss

    - kleenex

    - tampons/pads

    - mints (individually packaged)

    - advil

    - hair spray

    - tums

    - stain remover

    - bobby pins

    - hair elastics

    - hand sanitizer

    - makeup remover pads (running mascara from happy tears)

    - safety pins

Obviously not all necessary, just trying to think of things you might possibly use.

    Baby powder

    Hand sanitizer

I remember seeing a similar thread posted recently so I googled weddingwire forum bathroom basket and found the most recent one:

    Bathroom amenity baskets

    A few other results:

    Bathroom baskets and emergency kits

    Bathroom Baskets.

    Hope these help.

We are having an outdoor wedding. We have *gasp* porta potties. They flush and have running water. We're having 2, one for men and one for ladies. Are these lists above for indoor or outdoor weddings? Because, I can't ever imagine needing even an eighth of the things listed as a guest at an indoor wedding. Even for our outdoor wedding, my list is simple

Hand fans, bug spray, breath mints, lotion hand sanitizer, antacids, shout stick, Tylenol.

ETA: floss is a great idea because, BBQ.

@Kim - even for an outdoor wedding I'd really like deodorant and hair ties if it was going to be a warmer evening. After an hour of dancing or drinking that hair is going in a topknot.

I'm making the same baskets for our guests- I'm including everything previous posters mentioned... Make sure that you include SPRAY deodorant, not the stick or roll on kind. I have only heard of including clear nail polish for runs in stockings, not like an actual color or anything. I'm adding Advil and Tylenol because it is adults only- Please do not include them (or any other medications) if you are having children. I was able to find about 80% of this (including the baskets) at the Dollar Tree & 99 cent store... Good luck!!

I am not making them. It's just another unnecessary expense. My venue is a hotel, anyway, so wedding guests aren't the only ones using the BRs.

I didn't have anything special in the bathrooms, but my mom and sister packed an awesome emergency kit for the bridal and groom's rooms. Just have a pic of the bridal.

Antacids or anti-diarrheal medicine (I have a nervous stomach and I never have meds when I need it). Anti-chafing powder.

I'm so torn about this. I think I may do one towards the end, if there's time and room in the budget.

I have the perfect article to help in the Wedding Restrooms. Please enjoy and learn. As the big day is important, remember to plan even for the crapper.
