Wedding Recessional Song

I'm having a hard time picking the recessional song for our ceremony. I would really like all of our ceremony music to be instrumental, but I don't want the super traditional stuff. I'd like something a little unique. For our processional, the BMs are walking in to "A River Flows in You" by Yiruma and I am walking in to "Bridal March" by Jonathan Cain. I want something upbeat for the recessional while still keeping with the idea that the ceremony is the more "serious" part of the day. I would really appreciate any suggestions you might be able to offer.

Check out the vitamin sting quartet. the cover a lot of songs & genres. i had our DJ play this for the WP

Vitamin String Quartet would be an excellent choice, as Binx pointed out. They have several songs as tributes to original rock artists, so you might be able to find one that you really like from them.
If you want full orchestra arrangements, I'm going to "date" myself, but you might be able to use some of the old "Hooked on Classics" tracks for your recessional. They have a great beat and can be fun. Other choices could include Enigma, Enya, Sade, Ottmar Liebert and Mason Williams.
I would suggest you talk to your DJ... S/he might have some great recommendations.

We wanted something a little more upbeat for the recessional so we chose the instrumental version of Bittersweet Symphony. Most DJ's probably already have it!

Our pianist arranged Coldplay's "Lovers in Japan" for piano and strings, and played it with our string quartet. It was beautiful and upbeat!
