Wedding programs: special note from bride and groom

This is what ours says:

On this day as we begin our new life together; we would like to say thank you. We are blessed by each of you through your friendship and honored with your presence here today.

We appreciate your prayers and support as we embark on this new and exciting journey. You all have a special place in our hearts.

We wish to give special thanks to our parents for all they have done for us and the love and encouragement they

continue to provide. Thank you for raising us in caring homes filled with love and laughter. You have molded us into the man and woman we are today; for that we are

eternally grateful.

It is our wish to continue to build on this foundation so we may grow and prosper in our love for one another. We look forward to a lifetime full of laughter and memories with all of you.

To all our family and friends, we thank you for joining us in our marriage celebration. We have been blessed by your love and support over the years and look forward to its presence in the years ahead.

We are doing one. We have a special note for everyone and then one just for our parents. I just don't have it in front of me to show you..see if I remember when I get home.

We're not, since everyone is getting a personal note in their welcome bag, but friends of ours did a nice one last summer. It was short and sweet but gave us something to fidget with and read while we waited for the wedding to start.

Theirs says: "First we want to thank our Heavenly Father who brought us together. We know that He has blessed our marriage and we look forward to spending the rest of lives together honoring His word.[you could omit that if you arent religious, they obviously are]. Secondly we would like to thank our parents, without whom we would never be the people that we are. We are eternally grateful for your support, especially as we planned our wedding. Lastly we would like the thank the family and friends who are here today to celebrate with us. We know that you have sacrificed your time to join us here today, and we are so appreciative!"
