It’s possible if you get catering on the cheaper side. The general guideline is your venue/food/alcohol should be 50-60% of your overall budget.

My budget is less than 10k and it will be beautiful. Pricing will also depend on where you live but it can definitely be done.

I did an 80 person wedding for $8,000 so yes, I think you can do it but it takes a lot of budgeting, coupons and a crap ton of DIY!

I think it’s possible if you look at catering from a Mexican, Italian or BBQ restaurant and keep the food cost at about $10-$20 per person.

Yes honey I do think its possible. I think it helps with your ceremony and reception being in the same space. Just make sure you stick to your budget.

Research prices in your area. We are doing an 80 person wedding at a BYOB venue on a Friday and we're having a hard time staying under 25k. Catering would be about 30 per head. Our caterer can get as low as 12-16 per head, but that's with paper plates and plastic cups. We're using a dj, partial planner, Costco flowers, and a 400 dollar dress from David's Bridal. You may need to trim down your guest list. You might have to use Spotify rather than a DJ.

    Good luck!

We’re doing 160 for a little under 13,000. I think it’s absolutely possible. It depends on the season, the venue and of course, where you live.

Absolutely! Just keep a close eye on your budget and remember that you do not need every wedding item that is put in front of you. There’s so many easy ways to cut costs and have a beautiful wedding.

It is possible, but it may be a stretch depending on where you live. We're having a wedding for 85 people on a 10k budget. We've made a lot of cuts, so it was a strain. Catering will probably be one of your biggest expenses (other than the venue) so I would look into something more affordable to help cut costs!

Yes it's possible! We have a guestlist of 150 and we kept cost low by finding a venue that allows outside catering. I found my caterer on Instagram. She is a personal chef, but is growing into catering, so she cut us a GREAT deal. My photographer is a friend from high school who has a company and does EXCELLENT work. She only charged $550 for ALL of our photography for the entire day and it included our engagement photoshoot. Our videographer is another friend's brother who also has a company ($1200 for the day). Our colors are red (true red, not burgundy) and rose gold so I was having trouble finding decor that was affordable. I love EVERYTHING BIG lol. I bought my own trumpet vases (32inches) for less than $14 a piece. I don't have my flowers yet, but I am looking for open roses and peonys wholesale. Also, look for event rental companies in your area. A lot of "event designers" charge THOUSANDS to decorate, but they don't even have the stuff themselves. They rent it from a company and charge you that cost, plus the cost of "setting up". Cut out the middle man, do it yourself. I have been engaged since Christmas 2018 and have just now finalized all our vendors. Our wedding is 04/04/2020 (148 days!!!!) I hope this helps.
