So I’m planning on doing the slide show myself to have our pictures going when we switch from the chapel at our venue to the reception area but does anyone know how to do it or what app to use??? I know I can do it on a presentation on a computer but I need to do it from my phone!

If you have an iPhone you should be able to use iMovie.
