Not a covid 19 bride but I am in a wedding for sept and the bride pretty much has to put off doing some stuff and while I’m trying to plan her bachelorette and shower we are just planning and haven’t bought or booked anything yet since things seem not guaranteed but we are remaining hopeful that everything will be ok for her day

My date is 1/23/21 and I am stressing so much because of everything being closed. Keeping my fingers crossed everything will be opening back up soon 🤞🏼

My original wedding date was 5/8/2020 and both my shower and bachelorette party had to be cancelled, I was devastated. We rescheduled for 10/3/2020 and I am praying I can have a shower or bachelorette party. We haven’t planned anything yet. I really want to have a shower and a bachelorette party. Am I selfish for feeling that way? What I have to think about is what will a wedding look like after covid-19? Will people want to come? Can they spread all the tables apart so people are not on top of one another? Does that mean no kissing/hugging loved ones? Masks being worn? I am so unsure what this will bring. Anyone have any ideas of how to plan their wedding after this?

The alterations department opened up last week. So I can start altering my dress again on June 5, two days before my original wedding date. Smiley sad

Kelly, in my opinion based on nothing but what i assume, i would think some precautions venues might take would be: having only people of the same household sit together, guests wear masks except while eating, tables 6 feet apart. its silly i know but if it keeps people safe and allows us to have our wedding without worrying about infecting anyone then im all for it

08.01.2020 here! Staying as positive as possible. Things are beginning to open in our state. We won't make a decision to postpone until June if we absolutely have to.

10/17/20 wedding here. Trying to remain positive and we won’t make a decision until August if we will go ahead as planned so currently on hold with decor and such should I need to postpone.

We have many coming from out of town and several coming from Europe and things are just too unknown right now to make a decision. All our vendors are being amazing and flexible, most importantly our venue which I am so grateful for.

No, I am not able to do anything due to the state I live in, we are highly impacted by COVID19 & my wedding is destination but fingers crossed the fall weddings will be able to somewhat go according to plans. Trying to stick to most of the plans that I am allotted without shopping etc
