Wedding Planning for 2021 during Covid-19

Lc Bowles, on March 31, 2020 at 10:34 AM Posted in Planning 0 5
Hello! I’ve been planning for our wedding for some time now.. now that April is about to arrive.. I was going to dive in a tad deeper! I went on my first dress search and then stopped. 😔 Has anyone continued planning for a 2021 wedding? I’m a little discouraged with everything that’s going.. but I do hope that everyone is staying safe during this time ❤️ Any pointers? Words of encouragement?

Definitely can relate to the venue issue! This was the month I was going to travel down to New Orleans to view the venue.. online pics are good but gotta be there in person. I have a feeling that we are up against delayed weddings and chances of losing our chosen dates. It’s hard trying to stay positive but can’t help to think that everything will be rushed (venue, dress, design, and etc)

    Hi LC,

I'm so sorry you're dealing with this, and I know the uncertainty is super stressful! You are definitely not alone.

We recently published an article about How to Get the Wedding Dress Shopping Experience From Home During COVID-19 . If you've already contacted all of your local bridal salons and none can guarantee delivery by the time you need your dress, then I recommend expanding your search area.

Online/virtual shopping could be another great way to explore options right now. Once you have your measurements, you may be able to order a dress to try at home (after checking the return policy, of course). We have found that many vendors are more than willing to be flexible during this unprecedented time.

I wish you the best of luck. oG6xfPxhl22aqdvrsPVmmW6aSC1fsJJ1eVnkqYBF My fingers are crossed for you!
