Wedding Planner/wedding Decorator?!

A., on March 3, 2018 at 4:30 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 4
Hey all - i need someone on the day of my wedding to make sure that there are lace and flowers decorated on each chair, make sure the flower petals are scattered on the aisle, etc - just making sure that little decor to complete the wedding is done - is this what the wedding planner should do, or is there someone else I have to hire for this?

i was going to show up to the venue early and do it myself - but I realized that I wouldn’t have enough time to get ready, and the venue won’t let me do it the night before.

i have seen wedding planners doing these tasks before, just want to know if that’s part of what they should do .. thanks!

Usually your wedding planner helps you with picking vendors and the coordination of them. You might want to look into someone who helps stage the venue or ask your planner and see if thw venue will be doing the decor.

My planner is also my coordinator/decorator. She has a complete team that will set up the night before and work with her the day of. There will be a team at my ceremony venue that will clean up afterwards and there will be a team at my reception venue that will help set up and steer my other vendors in the right direction while the ceremony is going on. I would try to find someone who’s all inclusive. That’s the route I took and it’s been a breeze. She’s handling my flowers, catering, setup/clean up, coordination, purchasing our alcohol, etc. She and her team have been God sends. I don’t know what I would do without them.

I think you should ask your planner if she can do it. My planner Is a decorated and dabbled a bit in the florist field. So she has helped me alot with my decor.
