Wedding Planners & Binders

Happy birthday!! That is a very thoughtful (and practical!) gift from your fiance. One of my bridesmaids gifted me the wedding planning binder from The Knot! It was super thoughtful of her. I used it a little bit, but since we had already booked most of our vendors and chosen our colors and most of the big pieces were all set by the time I received it, I haven't used much of the binder. I have, however, used the checklist on The Knot quite a bit! The binder is definitely helpful for bringing with to meetings with vendors and/or venues, since it includes a list of questions to ask them. You can also take notes and keep everything (copies of contracts, color swatches, notes/ideas, etc) in one place. Happy wedding planning!

We are about 11 months away from our date so no vendors booked yet. We have our first venue visit next Monday and I am super excited! The vendor questions and vendor comparison spreadsheets look super helpful.
I also have used the Knot's website but mostly just for getting an idea of the general timeline I should be working in, so far.

I got a wedding planner right away! I used it from the very beginning. Definitely very useful

I used my planner a LOT more than WeddingWire, because my weddings a lot more unconventional. A binder gave me the freedom to manipulate it and make it what I needed

Happy birthday! What a wonderful gift! I bought “The Complete Wedding Planner”! It has tabs for everything I’m using it in conjunction with the WeddingWire to make sure we’re picking the perfect vendors it’s helpful to write down my own thoughts! Happy birthday, again!

I bought one from surprisingly Aldi's. I found it to be very helpful and it also doubles as a keepsake. It has pages for our love story and pages to put pictures. It has a lot of tips on how to plan a wedding and timelines of things to be done. It also has a page dedicated to tipping the workers. Honestly I love it and will save it.

Happy Birthday! So I went a bit overboard and bought 2 planners when i got engaged (one of them being the one you received) and was gifted 1, so I have 3 total. Honestly, being eyeballs deep into planning, I haven't touched any of them since everything is so digital. This is coming from a Type A planner too, but everyone is different. I know others who swear by their planner. I have just found that the knot check list has helped me a lot.

Luckily, my FH thinks it will be useful for him too since he isn't doing the online planning at all and we can use it to consolidate both of our ideas.

Happy Belated Birthday!!! I got one from amazon, it is really nice but I find that I do more with this website then I do with my planner. You may be different but I saw no difference between the planner and the website, as a matter of fact, the website has more information and guides on what to do than my planner did.
