Wedding planner

We didn't hire a planner, but we did have a DOC.

No wedding planner but I think it depends on how much your venue is willing to do. Our venue has a day of coordinator who will set up all the decorations for us and organize the ceremony.

We did but I’m not the kind of person that wanted to pick out flowers or hire vendors myself. If you have a smaller budget and don’t mind doing those things then I would just get a day of coordinator.

We have a planner/DOC that has worked with our venue a bunch of times so she is super helpful with design, florals, floor plan, and little venue specific details

I have a planner but only because Disney weddings provides it, if it wasn’t cause of that I wouldn’t pay for a planner. You could use the money for something else

We are paying a planner/coordinator. Since we are getting married out of state, she’s helped us make a lot of decisions when it came to picking our venue, caterers, etc. With all this coronavirus stuff going on I’m really glad we have her; she and her assistant will be the ones to come up with options for plan B if needed. It takes a lot of stress off me!

We hired a month-of-coordinator (she kinda sucked though and wasn’t worth the money we paid her, but I definitely think having an ORGANIZED, GREAT coordinator on the day of is essential for your own sanity!). I planned everything though— I actually enjoyed it!

I love planning so am doing it myself, but as PP said I'm also getting a Day of Coordinator because I want someone there to help set up/tear down and make sure the day is running smoothly.
