Wedding Planner Cost in Maryland

Hello All,

Can anyone give me a general idea of what a full service wedding planner will cost in Maryland? I have spoken to a wedding planner that was referred to me and her prices seem kind of expensive. She has almost 10 years of wedding planning experience. However, I already did some of the work for her. I booked the reception venue and caterer, which includes our wedding cake.

    Depending on the services requested wedding planners run from 1500 - 8000

    My wedding planner is $1500 and she is FANTASTIC! I am located in Carroll County so I don't know how far that would be from your location. She is phenomenal and I actually only got the partial package and she is still on top of everything and really makes my life a whole lot easier!

    She is charging $5000 for full service wedding planning. I am new to all of this, but that just seems expensive to me especially when I did some of the work already.

    I do wedding planning and my rates are not that high. hell I even slashed rates becuase money is tight for everyone and I gave 2012 brides 10% off all my services since Im getting married in 2012

    That is way to much to spend on a wedding planner.....I would continue to call around and meet people
