Wedding Photography

Would you be able to ask the company if you could pay for an extra hour or whatever for that photographer to do so? if not or if it's too expensive, it'd be ok to skip those photos altogether or just take informal ones yourselves

I think it depends on how important getting ready photos are to you. They aren't a priority for us, I would honestly be fine with one photo of my mom helping me into my dress. If they're something you think you'll still look back on in 10 years, you may be able to find a photographer who will let you pay by the hour. Maybe the elopement company can get you in touch with their photographer and they could let you pay out of pocket for a few additional hours of coverage?

To save money, we skipped the getting ready pics. But just before first look, our photographer snapped a few with my mom & sister and they pretended to be helping me get ready. Up to you if you want them but I didn’t care about including them in a photo album.

As the PPs mentioned, this is totally up to you. Are having these photos something that is important to you? If not, you could simply not have them.
