You should absolutely be able to check in that late. Most hotels have a 24 hour front desk. =)

ETA: Just remember you have to get up and be out of there by 11 AM (Maybe noon) for check-out the next day. So maybe book 2 nights so you can actually sleep in and relax?

Yes we are getting a room, you should probably get one as well. I mean it is your wedding night why not make it special? Yes, hotels let you do late check in as well

Yes. You can do a late check in or maybe have someone check you in for you? Our best man checked in at 2am so it's possible to have a late check in, just let them know ahead of time and maybe they can offer some solutions like holding your bags and such.

We got a hotel room to get ready in so we had it the night before. Less stress. Can you get a hotel room for one of you for the night before and that way you already have it waiting for you?

We did because we had an after party at the hotel and it made it super convenient. We booked it for 2 nights though and DH stayed there the night before the wedding while I stayed home with a couple of my OOT BM's. We did that so we didn't have to stand there with bags checking in while I was in a wedding dress, lol Smiley smile I'm sure you can check in late though...I would just let the hotel know that you will be checking in that late so they don't cancel your reservation as a no-show or something.

We got a room and requested a late check out. We are traveling about 45 minutes into Dallas and spending that Sunday after the wedding shopping and eating at the Galleria!

Thought about it, especially because of the after party but nah. Our dinner is a 10 minute drive away and I think at the end of the night we're just going to want to go home, kiss our dogs and climb into bed.

I would also suggest booking two days or asking for a late check out.

We are getting a honeymoon suite at the hotel my FH does security for. Because they like him so much they're giving us the whole weekend for the price of one night.

I booked a hotel for our wedding night even though we live 20 minutes away. I wanted something special for that night. I plan on going to the hotel early in the day to drop off our overnight bags and let them know that we will be coming late.

We got a room. FH is going to be checking in early (I asked the person in charge if he could as well as the wedding party) and they said yes. So we can just run up there

We booked a room even though our reception venue was literally walking distance from our apartment. You should be able to check in that late. FH checked us into our room early, like before he even went to lunch with his groomsmen, you could always have your husband get you checked in so that you can go straight to your room after the reception.

Nope. We got married at a local country club, no hotel involved. It was nice to go home and relax in our own place.

We are staying at a hotel close by so we don't have to drive back home (about 45 minutes-1 hour). FH requested a late check-in and they were fine with it.

We're getting married at a venue that's maybe 15-20 minutes from our house, and we're getting a hotel. We're getting married in Ybor City, and have plans for an after party pub crawl...we didn't want to take a cab back home, and certainly won't be driving ourselves. A hotel just makes the most sense for our drunken selves.

We booked one, but mainly so I can get ready with the Moms. Our wedding starts at 3 p.m., so I had to get the room for the night before and the night of the wedding. We decided to splurge on a King Suite with a two person jacuzzi. Smiley smile

We did. My mom gifted 2 nights to me. (She gets a discount through work). My mom, sister and I stayed there the night before, and then DH and I stayed there the night of the wedding. It was a nice little getaway. Smiley smile

Yes you can. Unfortunately this past March there was a really bad storm the night me and my future husband went to Toronto to see The Who and we've got stuck in Burlington for the night. We ended up finding a really nice hotel the Holiday Inn. We either got there after 1 or 2 in the morning. They felt so bad for us they only charged us $20. So you definitely should be able to check in that late if you don't want to go home. It kind of seems like a waste for me and my future husband to go to a hotel when I already have a home so we're just going to come back here for the night. It's really important for me to spend the night at my house with my husband and wake up in the morning to my husband in my house. Especially with my kitties here because it's like this will be our first night and morning as a family.

We are booking a suite for the night, I am planning on having my DOC check us in and drop our overnight bags in the room. We will also request a late check out.
