Wedding Last Dance

My wedding took place at the tail end of Winter so to honor the season it "snowed" during our last dance. "Best Part" by H.E.R. and Daniel Caesar played in the background as my husband and I floated around next to other couples on the dance floor. It was absolutely magical and all of our guests still rave about it to this day.

What are your thoughts? Are you doing anything special during your wedding last dance? What song will you dance to?

We have a running joke amongst our friends that "Closing Time" by Semitonic usually means, "get the heck out of my house" haha. We're choosing that as our final song to wrap up the night.

I’ve never heard of a wedding last dance. I need to look more into this. 😩

Our “last song” for all of our guests will probably be something classic like Sweet Caroline or Don’t Stop Believin, something everyone can have fun and sing to. Once everyone leaves, we will share a final dance alone in our empty venue. We haven’t picked the song yet.

We chose The Time of My Life from Dirty Dancing. Something fun that everyone knows and I love the connotation of it describing the day (hopefully). 😊
