Wedding is in 6 days, Any last minute things i need to do?

Richaelyn, on July 17, 2021 at 9:43 AM Posted in Planning 0 3
My wedding is next Friday. Super excited and I have a lot of things going on in this last week. Is there anything that I could be forgetting about? Please just give me a little list to make sure I’ve done everything or have the things on my list. There’s so many small details that I feel like something could be missing. Thanks in advance!

Get your engagement ring cleaned so it is all shiny and sparkly for pictures! Smiley laugh

Drop off hotel welcome bags (if you're doing them)

Drop off decor to the venue

Make sure paperwork is all set for marriage license

If you're having someone you know officiate, make sure they know the state/local rules for submitting the signed marriage license (like how many days they have to submit it following the ceremony) and have obtained all the permits they need to perform the ceremony

Assign someone to be in charge of your phone for the day-of so that you won't be fielding any phone calls from guests, vendors, etc.

Pack a bag if you are staying overnight (including regular toiletries and anything you need to wear for days before/after the wedding)

Figure out a plan for breakfast/lunch for you and the wedding party on the day-of if you will be spending the day getting ready together

Make any final payments to vendors that you can do in advance

Get cash for vendor tips/day-of payments and assign someone to be in charge

Assign someone to be in charge of transporting any gifts/cards at the end of the night

Bring snacks/arrange to have food delivered to your hotel room at the end of the night in case you are hungry (I've been told that the bride/groom often don't have much time to eat)

Pack an emergency kit (or have a bridesmaid do it) with things like a sewing kit, super glue, bobby pins, hair spray, stain pen/wipes, wrinkle release spray, blister kit/moleskin, tissues, lint roller, oil blotting sheets, etc.
