Wedding Invites

Ruby, on April 14, 2020 at 4:18 PM Posted in Planning 2 53
So I’m wondering... Where did everyone get their wedding invitations at? I am looking for an affordable place to get mine, any suggestions?
Also when should I start sending them out? 🤔

I'm looking at vistaprint. They seem to be the most affordable. They have a great selection and a lot of it is customizable.

We loved our Vistaprint invitations. Invites typically go out 6-8 weeks before the wedding.

I ordered a template on Etsy to use for the invites, belly bands, rsvp/details cards, thank you cards, seating chart & menu print outs (if we decide to use those). We are getting most of our stuff (with exception of seating chart) printed from print runner &/or zazzle. The seating chart will be printed by Costco. Altogether (with the template cost included) it’ll be around $170-$180

We ordered from Ann's Bridal Bargains. We got 125 invites for $113. This includes the invite, RSVP card, info card and printed return envelope.

We did online which I highly recommend. I used paperless post. I bought the special back on black Friday for 80 bucks. I was able to do wedding invites, bridal shower invites and thank you. And i still have enough to send out another round of wedding invites since we had to postpone.

Thanks so much! 😊 I’ll make sure to check out her online shop. I’ve fallen in love with the laser cut invitations and belly bands.

I also ordered a template on Etsy. It was a 4 piece set for $7.49. It matched my theme and my Save the Dates. I'm only printing 60 and the rest of the family about 65 will get the wedding wire link.

Minted Weddings for the main invitation because I wanted real gold foil (used a discount code) and Zazzle for the rest of the invitation suite (details card, reply card, belly bands). Zazzle frequently has 50% off sales.

We got ours from Zazzle. Since all our guests are coming in from out of state we sent ours out for a June wedding the first week of March. Now that we will be postponing till September we will send them out again in May/June once we get the new one back from Zazzle.

Also, send invites 6-8 weeks prior to your wedding. Talk to your caterer/venue and figure out when you have to tell them your final guest count. Have the replies due at least 7-10 days prior to that deadline so you have time to chase down those people who didn't respond.

I found mine on Etsy. Very affordable and lots of complements.
Sandy was the designer. Making paper creations, I think. Everything including envelopes and cure calendar stickers

My fiancé and I used the seal and send invites from Ann’s Bridal Bargain! They were beautiful and so easy to send out! We got 100 for less than $100☺️ I would definitely recommend!

We’re going to order through Costco. Id work backwards in when to send them out. Figure out when your vendors need final numbers by, set your “rsvp due date” about a week or 2 before that (you’ll need time to track down some people) and then send them about a month before that date. Hope this is helpful!

We are having ours printed locally and will save a lot of money that way. My fiancé is more artistic so he's designing it in photoshop/indesign.
