Wedding Invites Cricut Style

What is your experience with making your own invitations? Has anyone used a cricut to make their invites? Is it worth it or should I just bite the bullet and order invites. I love the look of laser cut and pocket invites but I don't want to start doing invites and begin hating myself! Thoughts? Anyone? lol Drop a pic of your homemade cricut invites for inspiration if you have any!

I don’t have the time or patience to make invitations with my Cricut. Just the “laser cut” envelopes could take 15 minutes each, depending on the design.

I’m currently addressing them with my cricut but I would never have the patience to actually make them with it. I’ve heard of people doing it who regretted it really quickly. I say bite the bullet and order some.

Completely agree with pp that it's so time consuming! I made rehearsal dinner invites but that was bc there was only 14 of them. It still took me almost a week! I only had time (and patience) to do a few each night after work. They weren't even complicated laser cut ones...
I did address the wedding invites with my cricut and that was nice...time consuming but worth it for that. I'd say bite the bullet unless you have under 20 to make!

I just addressed my envelopes with it and it probably took about 16 or so hours (couple of hours every night mindlessly loading the envelopes while watching TV) to address 100 envelopes. It also took about 2 1/2 pens worth of ink. I might be adding something to the back of my invites with it but I don't think I would have the patience to do the entire invite with it... like PP's said, each one takes a decent amount of time, even if they are simple. Here is my STD envelope.
